Enables multiple servers and users access network drives remotely over TCP/IP by setting up a shared storage network

Components

Initiator - hardware or software that sends data
target - the server that hosts the storage resources

The initiator will send/receive data over tcp/ip to the target, The OS recognize as if the drive is locally connected
